Grapefruit Froth

Tart, tangy and delicious, this dairy-free drink is a great way to start your day. Rich with Vitamin C and antioxidants, our recipe for Grapefruit Froth can be prepared with just three ingredients in just a few minutes.

Grapefruit Froth

2 servings

–       8 oz. soy milk

–       8 oz. grapefruit juice

–       Ice

Place the frothing disk in your Capresso froth PLUS and ensure it is securely snapped inside the bottom of the frothing pitcher. Add soy milk to frothing pitcher, and press the Cold button. Wait for frother to automatically shut off. Place ice into glasses and fill each glass half way with grapefruit juice. Pour frothed milk on top and stir.

The delicious combination of iced tea and lemonade is a classic summer staple. Enjoy this refreshing drink with sweet and tangy citrus flavors.

Arnold Palmer Froth

  • 8 – 10 Bags of Black Tea
  • 1 cup of your favorite lemonade brand
  • Ice and lemon wedge for serving

Fill your Iced Tea Maker pitcher with ice. Fill the water tank with fresh cold water, and place 8-10 black tea bags (or your desired portion of loose black tea) to the filter basket. Push the brew button, and allow the tea to brew. Pour your tea into your glass half way. Top off your tea with your favorite brand of lemonade and garnish with a lemon wedge.

Caramel Affogato

For a new take on coffee and dessert, try our recipe for Caramel Affogato, a scoop of ice cream “drowned” in espresso. The classic duo creates one mouthwatering treat that is sweet and creamy, yet bold.

Caramel Affogato

–       1-2 oz. espresso

–       1 large scoop Dulce de leche or caramel ice cream

Start by placing one large scoop of ice cream into a cup and placing it into the freezer for 15 minutes to an hour to harden.  Using your EC100 Espresso Machine, brew the espresso into a small cup.  Once espresso is done brewing, remove the scoop of ice cream from the freezer and slowly pour the espresso shot over the ice cream. Enjoy immediately.

NOTE: Any combination of ice cream flavors and ice cream toppings can be used to create your own Affogato.  What is your favorite combination?

Iced Kahlua Cappuccino

With just three ingredients, Iced Kahlua Cappuccino is simple to prepare and even simpler to enjoy. Its bold flavors combine to make a refreshing drink.

–       8 oz. low fat milk

–       2 oz. Kahlua coffee liqueur

–       2 shots espresso

Place the frothing disk in your Capresso froth Select and ensure it is securely snapped inside the bottom of the frothing pitcher. Add milk to frothing pitcher and press Cold button. After two minutes, remove frother lid and add coffee liqueur. Replace lid and wait for frother to automatically shut off. Meanwhile, prepare two shots of espresso and pour one into each cup filled with ice. Pour coffee liqueur froth over espresso and serve.

Thai Iced Tea

Your taste buds will be asking for more once you enjoy a sip of our Thai Iced Tea recipe. This sweet and scrumptious drink has the ideal balance of creamy and frothy milk layers, which add to its overall taste and appearance. Thai Iced Tea (Cha Yen)

–       8 oz. Thai ice tea (red tea) slightly sweetened

–       4 oz non-fat milk

–       4-5 Tbs. sweetened condensed milk

–       Ice for serving

Place the frothing disk in your Capresso froth PLUS and ensure it is securely snapped inside the bottom of the frothing pitcher. Add non-fat milk to frothing pitcher and press Cold button. After two minutes, slowly add in sweetened condensed milk one tablespoon at a time. Replace lid and wait for frother to automatically shut off. Fill a glass with ice and pour iced tea two thirds of the way to the top. Pour frothed milk on top, stir well and serve.

Vanilla Froth

–       1-2 tsp vanilla extract

–       2 tsp. sugar

We introduced our Chisto recipe a few weeks ago and today we’re sharing the nutrition facts on why it’s a healthier chai and explaining how to make a cold version.

Iced Chisto

1 serving

–       1 Chai tea bag

–       4 oz. boiling water

–       4 oz. non-fat milk

–       1 tsp. sugar-free vanilla syrup

–       Ice

–       Ground nutmeg and cinnamon to garnish

Using your Capresso teaC100, fill the kettle with 16 ounces of water (minimum line) and set the control to Black Tea (212° F). Once water has reached boiling, place 1 chai tea bag into a cup and pour 4 ounces of water into the cup.  Remove tea bag after approximately 5 minutes, adjust steeping time to your preference. Place cup in refrigerator and chill.

Using your froth PLUS, place the frothing disk in the frothing pitcher and ensure it is securely snapped inside the bottom of the frothing pitcher. Add milk and sugar-free vanilla syrup to frothing pitcher and press Cold button. Wait for frother to automatically shut off. Remove cup from refrigerator once fully chilled and pour frothed milk over chilled chai tea. Add ice and garnish with grated nutmeg and cinnamon, if desired.
