Homemade Brown Sugar and Almond Instant Oatmeal

About three ½-cup servings

–       18 oz boiling water

–       1 cup rolled oats, finely ground

–       ⅓ cup raw almonds, finely ground

–       1 Tbs brown sugar

–       1 tsp cinnamon

–       Fresh fruit, to garnish

Fill your Capresso electric water kettle with 18 ounces of water, program to 212° F and start boiling water. In a food processer or blender, grind rolled oats and almonds (may need to grind in batches depending on appliance). Pour oats and almonds into a large bowl. Add brown sugar and cinnamon. Mix well. Once water reaches boiling temperature, combine ½ cup oatmeal mixture and 6 oz water in a small bowl and stir well. Top with fresh fruit.
