Summertime and the grillin’s easy. Coffee is the best pick-me-up in the morning, but have you ever thought about using it as a spice rub for your favorite meat? Fire up your grill! We’ve gathered some great recipes that use our favorite ingredient – coffee!

Hazelnut Candy Latte

National Gourmet Coffee Day is this Saturday. Creating gourmet espresso based-beverages at home is easy with the Capresso EC PRO, and what better way to celebrate this holiday than with this toasty-sweet hazelnut drink topped with Ferrero Rocher chocolate hazelnut pieces. Choice-3 50% Hazelnut Candy Latte 1 serving

  • 1 ounce hazelnut syrup
  • 4-6 ounces milk
  • 1-2 shots of espresso
  • 2 Ferrero Rocher chocolate hazelnut candies, finely chopped

In your Capresso EC PRO Professional Espresso & Cappuccino machine, pull 1-2 shots of espresso and set aside. Froth 4-6 ounces of milk using the EC PRO’s frother. Pour the hazelnut syrup and espresso into a large mug, and add the frothed milk. Top with finely chopped Ferrero Rocher candy pieces, and enjoy!

Boston Iced Tea

Even in the fall, we love to enjoy a glass of iced tea. Make your iced tea festive with the addition of cranberry juice. This subtly sweet drink features the tart zing of cranberries, and is perfect for a crisp autumn day.

Boston Iced Tea

– 1 cup cranberry juice

– 6 black tea bags

Using your Capresso Iced Tea Maker, add cranberry juice to the pitcher. Fill pitcher with ice to the ice level marking and place pitcher with lid onto the machine. Place tea bags into the brew basket and close lid. Turn on machine and let brew. After brewing, pour tea into ice-filled glasses and enjoy!

Frozen Coffee

Frozen Coffee

Try something new and cool on a hot summer’s day. This Frozen Coffee recipe is easy and refreshing.

Frozen Coffee

1 serving

  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/2 cup very strong black coffee
  • 6 – 10 ounces nonfat milk
  • 1 shot coffee liqueur (optional)

In your Capresso SG220 Coffee Maker, brew coffee to taste.

Place frothing disk into your froth MAX and ensure it is securely snapped inside the bottom of the milk pitcher. Add 6-10 ounces of non-fat milk to frothing pitcher. Place lid and press the Cold button.

Add half of the frothed milk, and all ingredients to a blender and blend on high until smooth. Pour into a serving glass, and spoon the remaining cold frothed milk to top. Enjoy!

Cinnamon Key Lime Ginger Latte

Something delicious is brewing in your kitchen. This creamy latte has a touch of spice and a hint of tropical flavor to make it a delicious escape for your taste buds.

Cinnamon Key Lime Ginger Latte

2 servings

  • 2 Key Lime Ginger herbal tea bags
  • 6 oz. water
  • 8 oz. nonfat milk
  • 1 tsp. Monin cinnamon syrup
  • Ground cinnamon

 

Using your teaC100, bring water to a boil. Place 1 key lime ginger tea bag in each cup and pour 4 oz. of boiling water into each cup. While tea is steeping, place the frothing disk into the froth enhancer of your Capresso froth TEC. Add milk and cinnamon syrup to the frothing pitcher. Place lid and press the Hot button. Wait for the frother to shut off automatically. Remove the tea bags from cups and pour the hot frothed milk over the Key Lime Ginger tea. Garnish with ground cinnamon if desired. Enjoy!
