Samoas Latte

We’re putting a coffeehouse twist on Girl Scout cookies with our new recipe: Samoas® Latte. Inspired by the Samoas® Girl Scout cookie, this recipe can be prepared in a few simple steps with your Capresso Café Select.

.Samoas® Latte

2 servings

– 1/2 tsp caramel syrup

– 1/2 tsp chocolate syrup

– 2 oz espresso

– 4 ounces milk

– whipped cream and fudge, coconut and caramel cookies for garnish

First add caramel syrup and chocolate syrup to the bottom of a mug.  Brew espresso into the mug using the Capresso Café Select and set aside.  Switch the machine to frothing function and wait for the machine to heat up.  Froth your milk while adding minimal air into the frothing pitcher.  When frothing pitcher has become too hot to the touch, your milk is at the perfect drinking temperature.  Stop the frother before removing the milk pitcher from the machine.  Pour steamed milk over the espresso and syrups and mix.  Top with whipped cream and garnish with a fudge, coconut, caramel cookie.
